Glenn Hodgkins has been an avid birder since his daughter Anna got interested in birds as a toddler 25 years ago. He has been a leader in the Augusta Birding Club for the last decade and guided many local and regional trips in Maine. He has also guided trips for the Acadia Birding Festival. Glenn volunteered extensively for the Maine Breeding Atlas throughout the State and is the author of six species accounts for the upcoming final publication. He has written multiple articles on birds for the Maine Natural History Observer. Ask him about Red Crossbills, a very interesting and unusual species in Maine and across North America.
