Enjoy beautiful scenery and year-round activities
Cobscook Institute’s beautiful campus is situated on fifty acres of former farmstead and forest land in Trescott, Maine, in the heart of Cobscook Bay.
The Cobscook campus includes access to 8 miles of hiking trails, which connect to a 430 acre plus parcel managed by Maine Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
The East Stream Trail is perfect for hiking, wildlife watching, snowshoeing, and skiing. It crosses rocky outcrops, meanders along tidal East Stream, passes through distinctive tree stands, and joins with the Dennison Point Trail at the top of a tree-lined lane.
The region around the Cobscook campus includes many rivers and lakes, perfect for canoeing and kayaking.
Cobscook Center can provide canoes, snowshoes, and cross-country skis to your group for use on campus and in the surrounding area.
