Partners in Hope

#GivingTuesday Goal: $7,000

This Giving Tuesday (12/3), we invite you to join us in making a meaningful community impact on behalf of your neighbors. Cobscook Institute is replenishing our Access Fund, which was used nearly 600 times this year to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate in our educational and community programs—regardless of their ability to pay.

A small monthly contribution can achieve amazing things:

  • $10 per month provides six weeks of movement classes for a community member.

  • $15 per month funds a seven-week ceramics class.

  • $35 per month offers a two-week summer camp experience.

Access doesn’t start at the edge of Cobscook’s campus, though. In recognition of the whole spectrum of challenges that our community members face, this Giving Tuesday we are excited to partner with the amazing Community Caring Collaborative to support the Hope Fund.

This year, 25% of all Access Fund gifts received on December 3rd will go directly to the CCC’s Hope Fund.

The Community Caring Collaborative (CCC) cares about child and family health. Through the Hope fund, we contribute to family stability by paying for things like car repairs, security deposits, or a working fridge. We know that when concrete needs are met, people can begin to imagine possibilities. Possibilities like the programs that are offered at Cobscook Institute.

CCC is glad to team up with Cobscook Institute this Giving Tuesday to share a portion of our fundraising to support the Access Fund because we know that opportunities for enrichment, wellness, and creative expression offered at Cobscook are essential for health and wellbeing.

We invite you to contribute to this joint effort and help ensure all individuals and families can experience the stability the Hope Fund can provide for learning and connection opportunities that the Access Fund and Cobscook Institute offer.
