Executive Associate, and Programs Associate
Michelle is originally from Maine, has lived in various places around the state, and has settled in Maine after living in North Carolina for 22 years. In North Carolina she studied the art of clay and subsequently worked professionally as a potter for 18 years. She created and taught from her home studio, as President and CEO of Spencer Pottery, Inc., a mini s-corp, and sold her work at Franklin Square Gallery in Southport, NC, Sunset River Marketplace in Calabash, NC and won awards in various national juried art shows.
Michelle now lives in the Cobscook Area, and holds Maine teaching certification. She works Full Time at Cobscook Institute, teaching ceramics and as an administrator. She works on her personal art as often as possible, and shows by appointment in her small home Gallery, Orange River Artisans, LLC.
