Pottery Studio Manager

Cassandra joined the Cobscook Institute in 2026. A born and raised Passamaquoddy woman, she grew up surrounded by the natural beauty and rich traditions of Downeast Maine. A proud mother of four and an active potter, Cassandra pours her culture, heritage, and love for the land into every piece she creates. Her work is inspired by the landscapes of Maine and the deep roots of her Wabanaki culture.

Her passion for creating began by watching her mother and grandmother craft everything from dresses to beadwork, passing down a beautiful tradition of artistry. During the summer months, Cassandra enjoys exploring the rocky coastline of her homelands, searching for eagle feathers, and soaking in the joy of Maine’s long-awaited warm days.
