Brianna “Sipsis” Smith is a Passamaquoddy leader, community advocate, and fierce protector of language, culture, and future generations. As Director of Speaking Place and a Tribal Home Visitor, she works to strengthen families, create space for healing, and ensure the Passamaquoddy language continues to live, grow, and be spoken. Her work is rooted in Indigenous self-determination, cultural responsibility, and an unwavering belief in the strength of her people.
