Zach Sheller , the Hatchery Manager for Downeast Salmon Federation, joined the DSF team in 2014. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from University of Maine in Machias in 2006, and he has done a variety of jobs including Atlantic salmon restoration, being a fisheries technician at sea, observing endangered species, and sea turtle conservation.
