Description: The boreal and early successional forests of the Reynolds Brook area are habitat for a wide variety of birds, including warblers, thrushes, and raptors, with good possibilities for Spruce Grouse, Boreal Chickadee, and Canada Jay.
Access is via gravel roads and wooded trails, with a fire pond at one point by the road. The trails have rocky outcrops and, at the very end of one trail, a beaver dam, lodge and pond. There is also a cedar swamp. The exact route will be chosen by the guide based on recent sighting reports.
The walking is mostly flat to rough but not hilly terrain, and there may be some fallen logs to negotiate. The ground may be wet in spots.
Bring comfortable, appropriate shoes (preferably waterproof) and insect repellent. No restroom.
